I’ve been running my mobile haircutting business for over two months now, and a significant portion of my clients are parents with young children. If the barber is in a rush to move on to the next client, they may not have the time to be patient and make the child feel comfortable. These are just possibilities, but I know situations like this happen—and they’re part of why I love being able to provide a calmer, more personal experience.

I’ve worked with children for many years in various settings, so I understand how to help them feel at ease with new or unfamiliar experiences. I make a point to meet them where they are and approach the situation with plenty of patience. Kids can sense that, and when they feel calm and understood, they’re much more likely to cooperate.
